“A denture that fits well disappears into your daily life — you eat, laugh and speak without thinking about it. That's what we fit for.”
— Dr. Ananya, White Oak Dental Studio
What it's for
Dentures replace missing teeth with a custom-made removable set. At White Oak, every denture is planned by Dr. Ananya, an MDS Prosthodontist — dentures are a core part of her specialty, not a side service. We make complete dentures for a fully toothless arch, partial dentures (cast-metal or flexible) when some natural teeth remain, and implant-supported dentures that clip onto two to four implants for a denture that stays put. Most dentures take four to five visits over three to four weeks, with a trial fitting before anything is finalised.
Who it's for
Why do this
Dentures are part of Dr. Ananya's MDS specialty. Bite, jaw position and facial support are planned, not guessed, so the denture chews evenly and supports your lips and cheeks.
You see and wear a wax version first. Teeth shape, shade and bite are changed at this stage, so the finished denture looks the way you agreed.
Complete, partial and flexible dentures need no surgery at all, making them the gentlest way to replace many missing teeth.
A well-made denture can later be converted to clip onto implants if you want more stability, without starting over.
What's included
Procedure guide
Dr. Ananya examines your gums, jawbone and any remaining teeth, discusses which denture type suits you, and takes the first impressions.
A custom tray records the fine detail of your gums, and your bite is measured so upper and lower teeth meet correctly.
You try a wax version with the real teeth set in it. Shade, shape, lip support and bite are checked and changed until they're right.
The finished denture is fitted and adjusted on the spot, and we show you how to put it in, take it out and clean it.
After a few days of wear, any sore spots are eased. Further reviews follow until it feels comfortable.
How it compares
The four denture types we make, and who each one suits.
Best for: a fully toothless upper or lower arch
Best for: gaps between healthy natural teeth
Best for: patients who want no visible metal
Best for: denture wearers wanting a firm fit
Before & after
Bring any existing denture to your first visit. If extractions are needed, they're planned before impressions.
Sore-spot reviews in the first few weeks, then a fit check every 6–12 months.
Long-term care
Brush your denture with a soft brush and non-abrasive cleaner, then soak it. Normal toothpaste scratches the surface and makes stains stick.
Nightly rest lowers gum irritation and fungal infection risk. Keep the denture in water so it doesn't dry out and warp.
Gums change shape over time. A check every 6–12 months, and relining when needed, keeps the fit snug and prevents sores.
Home glue and DIY adjustments can warp a denture beyond repair. If it cracks or loosens, bring it in.
What it costs

Common questions
Usually four to five visits over three to four weeks: assessment and impressions, final impressions and bite, a wax trial, then delivery and adjustment. If teeth need removing first, the gums need time to heal before the final denture is made.
