Free Dental Check-up & Awareness Camp at Sacred Child Academy, Kokar
Dr. Ananya and the White Oak Dental Studio team held a free dental check-up and awareness camp for the children of Sacred Child Academy in Kokar, Ranchi. Each child had an oral health check-up and cavity screening, and learned how to brush properly, look after their teeth and gums every day, and why regular dental check-ups matter. The aim was simple: help children build good oral health habits early, and feel positive rather than anxious about dental care.

01
A free check-up for every child
An oral health check-up and cavity screening at the camp, with findings noted on a record sheet for parents.
02
How to brush properly
The right angle at the gumline, small gentle strokes, two full minutes, twice a day, and a pea-sized smear of fluoride toothpaste.
03
Caring for teeth and gums
Why gums matter as much as teeth, how plaque builds up, and the daily habits that keep both healthy.
04
Why regular check-ups matter
Visiting a dentist every six months catches small problems early, when they are quick and painless to fix.
05
Preventing cavities
How often sugary snacks and drinks reach the teeth matters more than how much — and why water is the best drink between meals.
